Broaden your horizons and immerse yourself in another culture for one or two semesters, through an overseas exchange program. Or internationalise your course through one of our short-term study abroad programs.
We have exchange arrangements with more than 100 international partner institutions in more than 20 countries. The university’s campus in Sarawak, Malaysia even provides the benefits of cross-cultural learning without leaving Swinburne.
Your international study experience is usually credited towards your course. There are a wide range of scholarships and travel grants available, too.
Accessible and flexible study options
At Swinburne, there’s a course and a pathway for everyone. Choose from a wide range of study options to get to where you want to go.
Build your technical expertise with a vocational education (TAFE) course, and receive credits to accelerate your entry into a degree course. Or prepare rapidly for the workforce with a two-year associate degree. Tailor an undergraduate degree to suit your interests. Or take that next step in your career with a postgraduate coursework program.
There are even UniLink pathways for students who just miss first-year direct entry in their chosen degree.
Choose how and when you study. Depending on your course, there’s on-campus, online, distance education, block release, Summer and Winter terms and full- or part-time study. Complete your course quickly, or spread out your studies to fit around work and other commitments.
To make studying accessible, we offer Commonwealth supported places, government HECS-HELP and FEE-HELP student loans, and scholarships for commencing and current students.
